Quality Event Reporting

Quality Event Reporting displays details on Quality Events in an interactive grid where the user can sort and filter columns, and double-click on entries to drill down into more information. Below is a breakdown of each report type, including its purpose, contents, filter options, and drill down behavior:

Quality Event Reporting pre-filter

Field

Description

Report Type

Pick list used to select which report to run.

  • Linked Records - provides a different perspective: instead of focusing on events or tasks, it lists all the external records that have been linked to quality events, essentially answering the question “Which jobs, orders, or other records have quality events associated with them, and what are those events?”
  • Quality Event Detail - provides a granular, task-level view of quality events. Unlike the Summary report (one row per event), the Detail report outputs one row per event line item, effectively listing all actions/tasks from all events (or from the filtered subset of events). This means if a single Quality Event has three lines, it will appear as three separate entries in the Detail report – one for each line – each entry repeating the event’s main info but showing a different line’s details. The Detail report is ideal for quality managers or team members who want to see and filter the workload across all quality events, such as “show me all open corrective action tasks assigned to me” or “list all tasks that are overdue or closing this week.”
  • Quality Event Summary - provides an overview of all quality events in the system (or all events matching the chosen filters). Each row in this report corresponds to a single Quality Event and displays high-level information about that event. Drill down is available.
